Family system being at the very core of our/any culture is in serious trouble in India due to the gender biased laws passed by the govt. With gender biased law like 498a already in place since 1983, govt passed another one “Domestic Violence Act 2005″ in 2006 without imagining its catastrophic effects on our family system.

The terror that 498a created with 98% false cases, Supreme Court of India wisely termed it as “Legal Terrorism”.  Now those unsocial elements in the society got another weapon in their hands in the form of DV Act.

Time has now come to act, we need to think and act on how to alleviate the pain and sufferings of thousands of Mothers, Sisters who lost their beloved sons, the brothers to this legal terrorism and also of those brave families who are facing this arduous challenge of false 498a, DV and so on.
